I decided to focus on making small works in a playful frame of mind. Well-worn children\u2019s blocks and chess pieces from my father\u2019s chess set got me moving. Handling the small objects brought back memories of making cardboard box doll house furniture with my mother. Back then, toothpaste caps were cups, old postage stamps became paintings, and check boxes with old clothespins were four-poster beds. My materials are different now, but my love of play keep me creating.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"et_pb_column_1 et_pb_column et-last-child et_flex_column
